17-year-old boy shot lifeless at hookah bar in South Delhi


A 17-year-old boy was shot lifeless, and one other boy sustained accidents, at a hookah bar in Southeast Delhi Saturday, officers stated.

DCP (Southeast) Rajesh Deo stated they acquired a PCR name at 3.15 pm and police rushed to the spot. Police stated on the hookah bar, which was operating clandestinely regardless of being closed on April 1, they discovered a pool of blood and tissues on the ground. Local inquiry revealed that the injured individuals had already been shifted to AIIMS Trauma Centre.

A senior officer stated a birthday celebration had been organised on the hookah bar and all of the boys current on the time of the incident have been juveniles. “A quarrel took place among the boys… and one of them whipped out his pistol and allegedly shot at the victim. The other victim was also injured in the melee,” stated the officer.

All the boys fled from the spot following the incident.

“Local and technical investigation revealed the involvement of local ruffians. One suspect, who is a juvenile, has been identified,” stated the officer.
