Sultanpur:

A wild wolf killed an 18-month-old lady in a village in Uttar Pradesh’s Sultanpur, police mentioned on Thursday.

The incident befell in Chakmusi village underneath the Baldirai police station space on Wednesday evening, they mentioned.

The lady, Preeti, was sleeping along with her household in a tent on the bottom of a major faculty when the wild wolf took her away, sub-inspector (Baldirai) Chandrashekhar mentioned.

When the lady’s father Sandeep awakened someday within the evening, he discovered that his daughter was lacking, he mentioned.

Following this, the household looked for the lady and a few villagers discovered a wolf feeding on the lady’s physique, police mentioned.

The wolf ran away after seeing the villagers, they mentioned, including the members of the family had taken the physique to their hometown in Ambedkar Nagar.

Further investigations are underway, the officer mentioned.
