At least 25 individuals have been injured, two of them significantly, when the Gujarat-bound bus they have been travelling in overturned after falling off a culvert in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh, a senior official stated on Sunday.

“Nearly 25 passengers have been injured, two of them critically, when the bus on its option to Rajkot from Indore fell off a culvert on Bhuki Mata Bypass after choosing up passengers from Ujjain,” Collector Kumar Purshottam informed PTI over cellphone.
The injured have been rushed to the district hospital, the Ujjain collector stated.
Most of the victims had visited the well-known Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain to supply prayers, police stated.
Mahakal space City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Omprakash Mishra stated preliminary investigation recommended that the bus with round 35 passengers on board was being pushed in a rash method.
After the bus overturned, its entrance wheels and engine bought separated from the car, he stated.
The bus skidded off the street and fell 8-feet down earlier than turning turtle, he stated, including that the incident came about at a blind flip, which is an accident-prone space.
“We have filed a case of rash driving in opposition to the bus driver, who’s being handled on the district hospital,” Mishra stated.
