Three individuals have been rescued after a three-storey residential constructing collapsed in Juhapura space of Gujarat’s Ahmedabad metropolis on Thursday evening, officers stated.
A significant tragedy was averted as all of the households residing within the constructing had vacated their flats within the morning because the 50-year-old constructing was in a dilapidated situation and had just lately developed cracks, stated chairman of the municipal standing committee Hitesh Barot.

‘Gol Apartment’ situated on Sonal Cinema Road collapsed round 9.30 pm.
Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Service despatched three fireplace preventing autos to the spot, stated fireplace officer Mithun Mistry.
“Majority of residents have already shifted elsewhere because of the dilapidated situation of the constructing. Our groups rescued three individuals who have been trapped within the rubble,” stated Mithun Mistry.
