Gurugram:
Four males, who had booked a cab via an aggregator app, allegedly stole the car of the taxi driver right here when he arrived to choose them up, police stated on Saturday.
The incident came about on Friday evening at Chaukar Ki Dhani close to IMT, Manesar, they stated.
The cab driver, Harish Kumar from Uttar Pradesh’s Azamgarh, acquired a reserving on the cab aggregator app round 11 pm on Friday, the police stated.
He reached the pickup level and located 4 males standing there. As he stepped out of the cab to substantiate if they’d booked the cab, the boys snatched the automotive keys from him, pushed him and fled in his car. The complainant’s cell phone was additionally contained in the cab, they stated.
An FIR was registered in reference to the incident at Sector 10 A police station on Saturday. An investigation is underway, the police stated.
