The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation has declared 524 buildings below its jurisdiction as harmful after an in depth survey within the metropolis limits, the civic physique mentioned immediately.
Out of those buildings, 61 fall in C-1 class (most harmful, unfit for occupation and require quick demolition), 114 are in C-2A class (must be vacated and structural repairs required), 300 in C-2B (want repairs with out vacating) and 49 in C-3 (want minor repairs), Navi Mumbai Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Narvekar mentioned in a launch.
The energy and water provide to buildings labeled as C-1 might be instantly disconnected. These buildings must be razed instantly, the civic physique mentioned.
The house owners and occupants of the harmful buildings have been requested to vacate the premises to avert any accident and lack of life, the discharge mentioned.
