The Bengaluru-Mysuru freeway in Karnataka, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi six days in the past, was inundated after heavy rains within the Ramanagara area of the state on Friday night time.

PM Modi on March 12 inaugurated the 118 km lengthy Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway, which lowered the journey time from three hours to about 75 minutes.
The six lane Bengaluru-Nidaghatta-Mysuru part of NH 275 is predicted to behave as a catalyst for socio-economic growth within the area.
