Three folks, together with a baby, have been killed right here when a truck hit the scooter on which they have been travelling and dragged the two-wheeler for nearly 500 metres, police stated on Saturday.
The incident happened close to the Katra overbridge right here late on Friday night time, they stated.
Ramdeen (40), his sister-in-law Surja Devi (35) and three-year-old nephew, all residents of Lalpur villager below Katra police station, have been headed dwelling when a truck rammed into their scooter from behind. The scooter received entangled with the truck and was dragged for round 500 metres, stated Superintendent of Police S Anand.
After reaching the spot, police personnel despatched the three for therapy to a Bareilly hospital, the place docs declared them introduced useless, he stated.
