A Delhi-bound IndiGDeo flight, originated from Cochin, diverted to Bhopal because of a medical emergency on board, the airways mentioned in a press release on Friday.
“IndiGo flight 6E 2407 working from Cochin to Delhi has been diverted to Bhopal because of a medical emergency on board. We remorse the inconvenience prompted to different passengers,” the assertion learn.
After touchdown at Bhopal, the airport’s staff, with out losing a second, rapidly offboarded the passenger and shifted him safely to the closest hospital, Bhopal Airport mentioned in a press release.
Earlier within the day, Dammam-bound Air India Express flight from Calicut was diverted to Thiruvananthapuram after its tail brushed the bottom throughout take off.
A full emergency was declared on the Thiruvananthapuram airport and the flight landed safely, officers mentioned.
According to officers, Air India Express flight IX 385 on Kozhikode-Dammam route diverted to Thiruvananthapuram because of suspected tail strike whereas taking off from Kozhikode airport.
“There have been 168 passengers on board, and the plane made regular secure touchdown at Thiruvananthapuram at 12.15PM and passengers deplaned,” the airline mentioned in a press release.
“We are making preparations to ship the passengers to Dammam by an alternate flight which is scheduled to take off from Thiruvananthapuram at 3.30 PM right this moment,” the assertion mentioned including that the airline employees are attending to all the necessities of the passengers at Thiruvananthapuram.
Earlier on February 4, a Calicut-bound Air India Express flight from Abu Dhabi landed again at Abu Dhabi airport after flames have been detected in one of many engines quickly after take-off.
