Foetus Found Abandoned In Noida Drain, Cops Launch Probe

Noida:

A foetus was discovered deserted in a drain in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida on Tuesday, prompting the native police to lodge an FIR and launch an investigation into the matter, officers stated.

The foetus, believed to be round 5 to 6 months outdated, was noticed by sanitation staff at Harola village underneath Phase 1 police station limits, a senior officer stated.

“The supervisor of the sanitation staff knowledgeable the native police station after which the foetus was taken into custody and despatched for publish mortem,” Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Noida) Ashutosh Dwivedi stated.

The extra DCP stated an FIR has been lodged underneath the Indian Penal Code part 315 (Act carried out with intent to forestall baby being born alive or to trigger it to die after beginning) towards unidentified accused.
