A person allegedly drowned his two children — each aged underneath six — in a properly in Faridabad on Thursday as his second spouse didn’t like them, police stated.
A case of homicide was registered towards the 37-year-old Bhagat Singh, who initially hails from Palwal and is presently dwelling in Shyam Colony in Sector 58, they stated. The accused father was arrested inside an hour of the incident, police added.
The kids, a four-year-old boy and a five-year-old woman, had been from his first marriage. The first spouse had died two years in the past.
The accused advised police that his second spouse didn’t like the youngsters so he killed them. He was dwelling along with his second spouse and the 2 kids. Police stated they’re questioning Singh.

When contacted, DCP Narender Kadian stated a homicide case has been registered towards Singh and he has been arrested. The position of his spouse can be being probed and if she is discovered concerned, she may also be arrested, the DCP stated.
