New Delhi:
A 32 years-old lady who was kidnapped 17 years in the past in 2006 was present in Delhi’s Gokalpuri, police mentioned on Thursday.
According to DCP Shahdara Rohit Meena, “On 22 May, a staff of Seemapuri Police Station on secret data traced the kidnapped woman age 32 years (now) who was kidnapped 17 years in the past.”
Accordingly, a case registered underneath part 363 IPC, was registered in 2006 at Gokulpuri Police Station, Delhi on the criticism of her dad and mom, they added.
“The woman was kidnapped in 2006 and in the course of the investigation, the woman disclosed that after leaving her home she was residing with an individual particularly Deepak within the village Cherdih District Baliya, UP and thereafter she left Deepak in lockdown after some dispute and began dwelling in Gokalpuri in rented lodging,” police acknowledged.
According to DCP Shahdara Rohit Meena, 116 kidnapped/kidnapped kids/individuals, and 301 lacking individuals have been recovered by Shahdara district thus far in 2023.
