West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is more likely to name on his Odisha counterpart Naveen Patnaik on March 23 throughout a two-day go to to the neighbouring state, a senior celebration chief stated on Friday.
The Trinamool Congress supremo may also provide prayers on the Jagannath Temple in Puri throughout the tour.
“She (Banerjee) will meet Naveen Patnaik on March 23,” senior TMC chief and Lok Sabha MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay stated.
The two leaders could talk about opposition unity for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Ms Banerjee is more likely to depart for Odisha on March 21 night and provide puja on the Puri Jagannath Temple the following day, an official on the state secretariat stated.
“This is a personal tour of the CM. She could depart on March 21 and can provide puja on the Puri Jagannath Temple the following day,” the official informed information company PTI.
Before boarding the flight from Bhubaneswar to Kolkata, Banerjee is more likely to meet Mr Patnaik, the president of the Biju Janta Dal (BJD).
