A forty five-year-old man was killed in a leopard assault at Pada village in Dahod district’s Limkheda taluka within the early hours of Wednesday. A 60-year-old lady was left grievously injured by the identical leopard, inflicting panic within the space.
The incident occurred when Champa Kanu Chauhan (60) and Ramesh Ratna Chauhan (45) had been sleeping within the courtyard of their respective properties. According to forest division officers, the leopard first attacked Champa within the courtyard of her home after which made its strategy to Ramesh, who suffered essential accidents.
While each had been rushed to the Zydus civil hospital in Dahod, Ramesh needed to be referred to Vadodara’s S S G hospital. He breathed his final on his strategy to Vadodara, the officers added.
The leopard managed to flee within the panic and pandemonium that ensued within the village following the 2 assaults. Champa is claimed to be recovering from her severe accidents.
This is the second leopard assault within the space in two days. On Monday night time, a leopard had attacked two youngsters at Kulpari village of the taluka inside their dwelling.
