The Noida-Greater Noida Metro will start passenger providers from 6 am on Sunday as a substitute of 8 am to facilitate civil service examination aspirants, officers mentioned on Friday. The preliminary examination for civil providers 2023 carried out by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is scheduled on May 28.
“The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) will begin passenger carriage providers from 6 am at an interval of quarter-hour as a substitute of 8 am on May 28 to facilitate civil providers examination aspirants,” NMRC Managing Director Ritu Maheshwari mentioned in a press release.
“Metro prepare providers will thus begin at 6 am from each terminal stations (Depot in Greater Noida and Sector 51 in Noida), Sector 142 and Sector 144 on Aqua Line, and can proceed usually thereafter,” the senior IAS officer mentioned.
In its notification on May 8 asserting the date for the celebrated examination, the UPSC mentioned the entry into the examination venue shall be closed 10 minutes earlier than the scheduled graduation of the examination i.e. 09:20 am for the forenoon session and a couple of:20 pm for the afternoon session. No candidate shall be allowed the entry into the examination venue after the mentioned time, it added.
Notably, two aspirants Ishita Kishore of Greater Noida and Smriti Mishra of Noida from Gautam Buddh Nagar cracked the UPSC 2022 examination securing ranks inside high ten. The outcomes had been introduced final week. Ishita secured All-India Rank 1, whereas Smriti stood fourth within the nation, in accordance with the UPSC consequence.
