The two-day nationwide govt assembly of Indian Journalists Union (IJU) concluded in Chandigarh on Sunday.
On the primary day of the assembly, Punjab Information and Public Relations Minister Chetan Singh Jauramajra attended the occasion as chief visitor.
According to IJU, practically 100 journalists from 20 states attended the assembly which occurred with a slogan “save journalism”. Union president Srinivas Reddy, former president S N Sinha, normal secretary Balwinder Singh Jammu and media advisor to Andhra Pradesh CM, Amar Devlapalli, and different members of the union attended the occasion. The IJU has known as upon the journalists and all those that cherish the values of democracy to look at March 23, the martyrdom day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, as “save journalism day”.
