PM Modi, Italian PM Giorgia Meloni Hold Talks On Bilateral Ties

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks along with his Italian counterpart Giorgia Meloni in New Delhi on Thursday and exchanged views on taking the multi-faceted bilateral ties ahead.

Meloni was accorded a ceremonial welcome on the Rashtrapati Bhavan as she arrived right here on a state go to.

Later, PM Modi greeted Meloni earlier than commencing the bilateral talks on the Hyderabad House.

“An expansive agenda masking political, commerce & financial, defence, science & know-how, power, well being, consular and cultural spheres awaits,” Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi tweeted.

In one other tweet, Mr Bagchi mentioned talks between PM Modi and his Italian counterpart had been underway.

“Leaders will change views on taking the multifaceted bilateral ties ahead with mutual dedication to foster progress, widen collaboration in numerous fields and deepen convergences on regional & international points,” Mr Bagchi mentioned.

India and Italy are celebrating 75 years of multinational of diplomatic relations this 12 months.
