The Supreme Court Wednesday agreed to listen to on March 3 an attraction of the Tamil Nadu authorities towards the Madras High Court order allowing the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to take out a march within the state.
A bench of Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud and Justice P S Narasimha took be aware of the submissions of senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi, showing for the state authorities, that the plea wanted an pressing listening to because the march is scheduled to begin from March 5.
“I’m asking for a Friday listening to,” the senior lawyer stated.
“We will preserve it on Friday,” the bench stated.
The Madras High Court on February 10 had permitted the RSS to take out its route march in Tamil Nadu on rescheduled dates, and noticed that protests are important for a wholesome democracy.
