A 19-year-old youth died after consuming a drugs prescribed by a health care provider in Allahganj space of the district, police stated on Sunday.
Ajay, a resident of Allahganj city, fell in poor health on Friday. He consulted an area physician, Prithviraj, who prescribed him a drugs, Circle Officer (Jalalabad) Ajay Rai instructed PTI.
The sufferer died after consuming the drugs that the accused physician had prescribed, he stated.
