The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is contemplating felony and disciplinary penal motion in opposition to two candidates for allegedly claiming choice within the civil companies examination, the outcomes of which had been declared on Tuesday, based on an official assertion.
The case pertains to Aysha Makrani (from Madhya Pradesh) and Tushar (from Bihar) who fraudulently claimed that they’ve been lastly really useful by the Commission within the civil companies examination 2022 in opposition to two roll numbers of genuinely really useful candidates, it mentioned.
“The claims of each individuals are faux. They have solid the paperwork of their favour to buttress their claims,” mentioned the assertion issued on Friday.
By doing so, each Ayasha Makrani and Tushar have acted in contravention of the provisions of the Rules of the Civil Services Examination, 2022 notified by the federal government of India (Department of Personnel and Training), it mentioned.
Therefore, in accordance with the provisions of the Examination Rules, the UPSC is considering each felony in addition to disciplinary penal motion in opposition to the 2 candidates for his or her fraudulent acts, the assertion mentioned.

The UPSC conducts civil companies examination yearly in three levels — preliminary, fundamental and interview — to pick officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), amongst others.
