Mangaluru, Karnataka:

 The Karnataka Police on Tuesday registered a case towards one man for allegedly stabbing a 23-year-old girl to demise whereas she was at her dwelling alone in Mundur area of Dakshin Kannad.

The deceased woman recognized as Jayashri, 23, was a graduate in Bachelor of Science (BSc).

According to the police, the mom of the deceased girl has alleged one Umesha for her daughter’s demise.

“As per the grievance filed by Jayashri’s mom Girija, when Jayashri was alone at dwelling, a miscreant got here and stabbed her. She was instantly taken to the hospital, however Jayashri died on the way in which. Girija suspected that her spurned lover dedicated the act,” police stated quoting the deceased’s mom as saying.

Jayashri was in love with one Umesha for a while and he typically got here to her home. But not too long ago Jayashri ended her relationship with him attributable to his dangerous behaviour, Girija talked about in her grievance.

The police have registered the case at Puttur rural police station.
